What we measure, and what we never collect.
Autom8 runs its own analytics on this portfolio. No third-party trackers, no advertising networks, no measurement cookies, and no personal data.
What we measure
We count page views, how far down a page people read, how long a page stays open, and which elements get used — gallery images, videos, share and contact buttons, category filters, and links out to live projects. That is the whole list.
How we measure it
Measurement is first-party and self-hosted: the counts are recorded by this site's own server into our own database. There are no third-party analytics services, advertising networks, tracking pixels, or embedded SDKs, and nothing is shared with or sold to anyone.
What we don't store
We don't use cookies for measurement and we never store your IP address. To tell repeat visits apart from new ones, your IP address and browser user-agent are combined with a secret server-side value and turned into an irreversible hash — a fingerprint we cannot turn back into an IP address or use to identify you.
What is kept, and for how long
Each recorded interaction keeps only coarse detail: the page, the referring site's domain, a channel label (such as direct, search, or email), any campaign or reference tag in the link you followed, your country as reported by our CDN, and broad device, browser, and operating-system categories. Individual records are deleted automatically after 180 days; only aggregate totals remain.
Campaign and reference tags
Links we share sometimes carry a reference tag (for example ?r=proposal) or standard UTM parameters. These tell us which shared link brought someone here so we know which outreach is worth repeating. They describe the link, not the person who clicked it.
Contacting us
If you email us using the contact link, that conversation is ordinary email correspondence — it is not part of this measurement, and it is kept only as long as needed to reply and keep our records.
